What works best for you? That's the starting point for every conversation we have with you about your service needs.
RedStorm has sole-source responsibility for managing the service process for you, but we do that through a multi-source mix of inhouse personnel and a select group of service providers to make sure your service experience is fast, great, and exactly what you want.
We work to be as flexible as you need us to be. So, if your own service shop can handle warranty repairs, we'll work it out. If you have a local service center that does great work, we'll work with them. If you want us to come to you, we'll work it out. If you just want to make one call and have it handled, we'll handle it.

Meet Our Service Partners
New Baltimore Garage
In northern Virginia, we work with New Baltimore Garage. Founded in 1946, their 6-bay repair facility specializes in heavy truck repair, as well as having an onsite body shop and paint booth to handle body repair. They understand drive trains like no one else, and can handle the most complex brake and hydraulic repairs.
Piedmont Fleet Services
In southwestern Virginia, we work with Piedmont Fleet Services located in Lynchburg. Piedmont is a full-service emergency vehicle and truck repair center with a 16-bay facility and EVT certified technicians. They offer general repairs, plumbing and pump repair, pump testing and certification, and warranty service for CustomFIRE, Spartan, Allison, Cummins, Detroit, CAT, Freightliner, Sterling and Whelen.
Linthicum-Ferndale
In the Baltimore metro area, our go-to guys are Linthicum-Ferndale Truck Body Repair. Located just a block from our Maryland office,they've been around for almost 30 years and specialize in repairs and refinishing of heavy fire and rescue apparatus. Onsite paint booths, 11 large truck bays, a skilled team and convenient pick-up-and-delivery service make them a great choice to serve our customers.
Colonial Truck
Colonial Truck is our partner-of-choice in the Richmond area. Located just off I-95 in Ashland, Colonial Truck is staffed with highly qualified, factory-trained and certified technicans. They also provide highly acclaimed service for Cummins and Caterpillar engines, as well as warranty service for CustomFIRE, Marque Ambulance and Spartan chassis.
Emergency Vehicle Specialists
In Maryland and parts of Virginia, Hagerstown-based Emergency Vehicle Specialists (EVS) is a dedicated, full-service fire apparatus and emergency vehicle service and repair centerstaffed by EVT and ASE certified technicians. It is owned and operated by Jim Kimble and Danny Bowers. Jim is an ASE master truck technician and is a National Association of Emergency Vehicle Technicians member. Danny has approximately 30 years of fire apparatus repair experience, and has worked on all makes of fire trucks, aerials, and ambulances.
EVS offers full fire and apparatus emergency vehicle repairs; 24-hour emergency road-side service; engine, transmission, suspension and axle repair; electrical system repairs and generator installation and repair; on-site third-party aerial certification testing and repairs; on-site third-party pump certification testing; pump and plumbing repair and rebuilds for Hale, Waterous and Darley brand fire pumps; and fire apparatus accident repairs.

That's our service philosophy. We're not interested in "sole source" parts procurement, or making you drive three hours to our shop, just because that happens to be where a building is. Instead we manage the service process, so it's seamless for you, and work with a select group of service providers who are great at what they do.
Because, let's face it, you want your truck fixed fast and fixed right. And you'd like a decent price on parts. That's not too much to ask,and it's one of the reasons we've partnered with the Custom Fire, US Tanker and E.J. Metals. They're happy to supply us with all kinds of parts. But they're just as happy to have us, or you, source parts straight from the most convenient and cost-effective source.
